Hunter Rivers Funding Proposal for EMS Outcomes

The Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking proposals that deliver Environmental Management System (EMS) outcomes in the Hunter-Central Rivers region, consistent with the Hunter-Central Rivers Catchment Action Plan (CAP).

Proposals are sought from:

  • Interested individual businesses or groups of businesses, including those from the oyster, wine, golf and nursery industries, to adopt and/or implement EMS to improve natural resource management consistent with the CAP.
  • EMS providers or delivery agents to implement projects that deliver adoption and/or implementation of EMS activities with businesses, including from the oyster, wine, golf and nursery industries, to improve natural resource management consistent with the CAP.

The program has a total budget of $113,200 available in 2011/12 and $113,200 available in 2012/13, in each year being a combination of NSW Government Catchment Action NSW ($54,700) and Australian Government Caring for Our Country (CFOC) funds ($58,500), however depending on the quality of proposals more funding may be available through the program.
 
The Proposal Form must be submitted by 16 December 2011.  Successful proponents must deliver all agreed outcomes by 15 June 2012, or 31 May 2013 if delivery is approved over 2 years. Please refer to the Request for Proposals Guide when completing the Proposal Form.
