Important Information for Conference Delegates

 

Bring a bag

We ask that you bring a conference satchel or bag of some sort as we will not be providing another one to add to your collection! You will receive an A4 delegate handbook at the time of registration.

The final program is on the website at: http://ems.asn.au/events/2010/program.htm. Please make sure you download it to check updates and room numbers.

All conference sessions and functions, except the dinner, will be held at this venue. A campus map can be found on the Conference homepage at: http://ems.asn.au/events/2010/

Auditing Workshop - Monday

The auditing workshop with Tim Hamilton will commence at 10am on the Monday 11 October NOT 9:30am as originally announced. This will allow a timely finish by 5:00pm in time for the Welcome Reception.  The workshop will be held in Room D2:212.

Welcome Reception

From 5:30pm in the Gallery Lobby on level 2 above the John Hay courtyard. Conference registration can be completed at this time.

Conference Dinner - Tuesday

Venue: The Watermark Restaurant, Four Points Sheraton, 10-14 Eastern Beach Road, Geelong
Time: 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Dress code: Smart dinner attire

Conference – Tuesday/Wednesday

Start time is 9am on both days with registration desk open at 8am on both days.

Field Trip

The field trip will leave promptly at 8am from the corner of Gheringhap and Brougham Streets. Please arrive a little early if you are bringing luggage to put on the bus.

Please note that Toyota requires you to wear comfortable (fully enclosed, no high heels) shoes, long sleeve shirts and pants. Visitors not wearing appropriate footwear or clothing will not be allowed to enter the Toyota Plant. We recommend similar attire for the Black Rock Water treatment plant.

Safety equipment (eg. safety glasses, bump caps & vests) will be provided and need to be worn at all times on the tour. No photographic or other recording equipment is allowed within the Toyota plant

Toyota also requires you to have read and signed the Conditions of Entry prior to the day of the tour.  Each participant must bring a signed Conditions of Entry form on the day of the tour in order to be allowed to participate in the tour.  Participants under 18 must have the Conditions of Entry form signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Accommodation

If you have booked accommodation with your registration you will be staying at the Four Points Sheraton at 10-14 Eastern Beach Road. Hotel check-in is 3:00pm and check-out is 11.00am

Car parking at the Hotel is a valet service and charged at the rate of $25.00 per car per night for in house guests and $30.00 per park for day guests.

Your accommodation and breakfast has been prepaid, however you will be required to leave a credit card imprint to cover incidental expenses.

Parking

You can park on the campus in the red and blue zones on the map which is on the website. Small fees apply.
