The 2nd National EMS Forum grew on the success of the first, with 90 delegates attending from the corporate, government, private, not for profit and farm sectors. All states were represented, with a strong showing from Victoria, where EMS is gaining traction.
The theme of the forum, “Changing our Thinking: Adapting with EMS”, reflected the need to embed the concept of environmental management into mainstream business practices across Australia.
The program was designed to provide delegates with a dynamic, interactive and stimulating experience with many opportunities for seeing EMS in practice and discussing innovative approaches.
A special Tools Expo was held as part of the forum to showcase products and innovations for EMS use. This new development was well received and will be a feature of future events.
The EMS Association would like to thank the following organisations and speakers for supporting the forum.
